Speech Title: Micro/Nano Robotics for Single Cancer Cells
Abstract: Cancer is considered as a leading cause of death worldwide. It is important to develop methodologies that improve the understanding of disease condition and progression. In recent years, single cell biology has been performed using micro/nano robotics for the exploration of nanomechanical and electrophysiological properties of cells. However, the understanding of the mechanisms is still limited. Therefore, a systematic approach to address this challenge using micro/nano robotics techniques is important for a wide range of technologies where micro/nano manipulation and measurement are in demand.
