Presentation title: Neuromodulation technology and application based on functional magnetic resonance imaging navigation
Abstract:
Neurological diseases are the major cause of disability home and abroad. Neurodegenerative diseases, e.g. Alzheimer and Parkinson, increase the burden of aging. Current medicine and psychotherapy have their limitations such as addicted to drug and slow response to psychotherapy. Yet, non-invasive neural modulation technics showed the ability in treating neurological diseases. However, individualized targeting, timing and modulation modes are remained to be refined.
This report proposes a novel neuro modulation strategy, combining with new theory of closed loop deep brain targeting, to solve current drawbacks of non-invasive neuro modulation technics. The proposed strategy combines modulation equipment, navigation algorithm, and targeting based on individualized brain function network under f-MRI guidance.
